Error in getting categorylist

I hav problems getting the categorylist from both Ventrian news Articles and DNNArticles. When adding account with either Live Writer for windows or Ecto for Mac i get the same error message:

"unsupported method called: mt.getCategoryList"

That means I can´t publish articles/blogs etc. to specified categories?

It sounds to me like you inadvertently selected Movable Type as the API type in the dropdown list. To confirm, this, choose Edit Weblog Settings from the Weblog menu and see what the value is for the provider. If it says Movable Type, then you'll need to click the Update Account Configuration button and re-configure the account to use the MetaWeblog API.

I tried to do that, but still a problem with Categories. I get this error:

"Member "description" of struct "CategoryInfo" cannot be null."

Do you get this same error in both Ecto and WLW? Also, do you have categories configured or is the list of categories empty?

I am getting the same error when I try a refresh on the Catergory listing (The list is empty to start with)...

Server Error 0 Occurred

Member "description" of struct "CategoryInfo" cannot be null.

I double checked the API.

Latest version of News Articles 00.07.05. Latest beta version of Live Writer.

I have several Catergories and even created a couple of test ones after upgrading to the latest version of News Articles.

Are there any security settings that need to be looked at under News Article admin options?
